Our proposed illustration for the article Multiscale Simulation of Photoinduced Electron Transfer in Cryptochrome 4 from European Robin and Pigeon Indicates a Conserved Dynamics has been selected as the front cover of the August-28th issue of the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters. Our work, combining AlphaFold modeling, MD simulations and QM/AMOEBA calculations, provides an unprecedented insight into the electron transfer cascade at the basis of birds’ magnetoreception.
